Resetting Our Carbon Footprint

With every step we take, we leave a trace of us in nature. The fewer these steps, the better for our world, because carbon footprint is one of the main problems of global warming. Carbon footprint; it arises with the high amount of greenhouse gases produced as a result of human-induced activities, that is, carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. With this project, it is aimed to raise awareness of students about global warming, carbon footprint and the steps that can be taken to prevent them.

Our project will start at the end of March, February and will end at the end of April. By making our students aware of their responsibilities towards the world they live in from a young age, we will raise awareness and information about carbon footprint and global warming by doing fun activities on the subject of carbon footprint. Through cooperation and group work, we will turn our students and partners into environmental volunteer participants.

The founding partners of our project; Azize Kocaman, a teacher at Mehmet İçkale Secondary School, and Iuliana Simion, one of the teachers at Scoala Gimnaziala lancu Secondary School in Romania. Our project is a project with 27 partners and 17 of our partners are from European countries.

Karbon Ayak İzimizi Sıfırlıyoruz

Attığımız her adımda doğada bizden bir iz bırakıyoruz. Bu adımlar ne kadar az olursa dünyamız için o kadar iyi çünkü; karbon ayak izi küresel ısınmanın ana sorunlarından biridir. Karbon ayakizi; İnsan kaynaklı faaliyetler sonucunda üretilen yüksek miktardaki sera gazları yani atmosfere salınan karbondioksit ile ortaya çıkar. Bu proje ile öğrencilerin küresel ısınma, karbon ayak izi ve bunları önlemek için alınabilecek adımlar konusunda bilinçlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

Projemiz Mart, Şubat ayı sonunda başlayacak ve Nisan ayı sonunda sona erecektir. Öğrencilerimizi küçük yaşlardan itibaren yaşadıkları dünyaya karşı sorumluluklarının bilincine vararak, karbon ayak izi konusunda eğlenceli etkinlikler yaparak karbon ayak izi ve küresel ısınma konusunda farkındalık ve farkındalık oluşturacağız. İşbirliği ve grup çalışmasıyla, öğrencilerimizi ve ortaklarımızı çevre gönüllüsü katılımcılara dönüştüreceğiz.

Projemizin kurucu ortakları; Mehmet İçkale Ortaokulu öğretmenlerinden Azize Kocaman ve Romanya'da Scoala Gimnaziala lancu Ortaokulu öğretmenlerinden Iuliana Simion'dur. Projemiz 27 ortaklı bir proje olup, ortaklarımızın 17'si Avrupa ülkelerindendir.
